Veterinary Receptionist/Technician
Animal ophthalmology specialty practice located in West Bridgewater, MA, seeks and experienced candidate for a primarily receptionist position, with occasional assistance with technician duties, for a part-time position.
Applicants with prior veterinary hospital experience (at least one year) will be considered; such experience is a prerequisite for consideration.
Hours will be from 8 AM to 12:
00-1:
00 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and, occasionally, from 8 AM to 6 PM on Wednesdays.
Duties will be primarily receptionist based:
answering phones, booking patient appointments, checking clients in and out, obtaining and dispensing medications to clients, answering client's questions, being a liaison with referring veterinarians and their staff, filing, with some involvement in inventory maintenance and with hospital cleaning. Other duties will include preparing the surgery suite for surgery, drawing up anesthetic and pre- and perioperative medications and assisting with catheter placement and blood draws.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
