Ambulatory Coding Compliance Manager

Full Time 40 Hours onlyWest Center St.
ProfessionalDays 1st ShiftUnder the general direction of the Director of Revenue Cycle, provides managerial oversight and technical support for ambulatory coding and charge capture functions.
Responsible for insuring accurate diagnosis and procedure coding as well as providing documentation and coding related feedback and educational services to providers.
Excellent computer, verbal and written communication skills required.
Previous supervisory experience required.
A minimum of three to five years coding experience (ICD-9-CM, CPT) in an ambulatory facility required.
Comprehensive knowledge of CPT coding methodologies and regulatory requirements a must.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required to interact effectively with the medical staff.
Demonstrated leadership skills required.
Ability to converse with physicians regarding coding and documentation.
Ability to plan, write and deliver training materials specific to coding/documentation matters.
Proficiency in PC Office applications required.
Education:
Associate Degree required, BA Preferred.
Experience (Type & Length):
5 or more years in Ambulatory or Hospital outpatient setting, Certification/Licensure:
CPC.
Software/Hardware:
Experience and familiarity with electronic health record systems.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
